Award Programs

ROM Program

ROM Registration $15.00

ROM Annual Renewal $10.00

Enrollment or Renewal must be paid for before any points are submitted for the year.


Please submit show Point Report Sheets by September 30th of the current show year.

 

Any points earned for the ROM Program are recorded on the registered CPtHA horse's record.


The Canadian Pinto Horse Association's Record of Merit (ROM) Program was started in 1973 to allow registered CPtHA horses and ponies to accumulate show points, at CPtHA and open horse shows to earn annual and lifetime achievements.


Breed Specific classes other than CPtHA (pinto) classes will not be accepted.

Foals may be registered in the program as weanlings. 



Youth Horse/Pony ROM Program

Any points earned for the Youth Horse/Pony ROM Program are recorded on the registered CPtHA horse's record.

Horses enrolled in the Youth Horse/Pony ROM Program can earn show points and lifetime achievements while being shown by a youth rider in CPtHA approved shows (pinto and open).


 

Youth Award Program

Enrollment in the Youth Award Program allows young members to earn various awards and achievements while showing in their respective youth classes regardless of the horse they show. 


The Canadian Pinto Horse Association's Youth Program is designed to encourage youth development in the C.Pt.H.A.  The program allows youth to accumulate points in approved shows from year to year.


Youth must be members of the Canadian Pinto Horse Association and pay a Registration fee of $10 before points may be earned.  The age limit for this program is 17 years old as of January 1st of the calendar year.


The program offers a "High Point Youth of the Year" award to the youth compiling the most points in approved youth classes, at C.Pt.H.A. approved shows, prior to September 30th of the calendar year.  


Awards will be presented to youths for "Youth Champion" once they have accumulated 50 points, 20 points in Youth Showmanship and 30 points in performance. 


 A "Superior Youth Champion" award is presented to youths who have accumulated 70 points, 30 points in Youth showmanship and 40 points in performance classes.
